Artist Talk with Wisconsin Artist Nathaniel Stern

July 30th, 2015  6:30-7:30

Nathaniel Stern strapped a scanner to his body and immersed himself in a lily pond to create a series of performative prints, which he calls Giverny of the Midwest. The resulting beautiful and unexpected images showcase a relationship between body, technology, and the natural landscape. This MOWA exhibition marks the United States debut of the work. On July 30, Stern will lead an Artist Talk sharing his inspiration behind his artwork and creative process. Giverny of the Midwest is on view through September 6.
