14th Annual WMSE Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser

March 6th, 2016  11am to 4pm

Taking place on Sunday, March 6th, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Rockabilly Chili Fundraiser is a chili competition that pits over 50 Milwaukee restaurants, cafes and caterers against one another to determine the city’s best chili as voted on by event attendees. Awards are given to winners in five different categories: best meat, best vegetarian, most unique chili, best heat, and best vendor display/presentation.

The BigWigs campaign engages local corporate and community leaders as representatives in the fight against breast cancer. During the 4 week campaign, each BigWig will raise or give a minimum of $5,000, which will be used to ensure access to essential breast health services and education programs, and support research to find the cures for breast cancer. Through this program, 75% of funds raised remain in local communities to help fund local breast cancer initiatives.

The Home Creamery Part I: Cultured Milk and Fresh

Join home cheese maker Linda Conroy for this fun and inspiring class. Making cultured milk (i.e. yogurt, kefir and piima) and fresh cheese in your own kitchen is easy and fun.
